The Jumpstarts spelar swing, rhythm & blues, rockabilly och country i 1940- och 50-talsstil. Vi spelar både covers och eget material i traditionell stil. Repertoaren är varierad och innehåller allt från dansvänliga swinglåtar och fartfylld rockabilly till finstämda jazzballader och tårdrypande country.

The Jumpstarts kommer från Helsingborg och består av rutinerade musiker som medverkat i ett flertal lokalt kända band. The Jumpstarts har spelat tillsammans sedan 2007.

 

The Jumpstarts is a band that plays 1940’s and 50’s style swing, rhythm & blues, rockabilly and country. We play both covers and original material in a traditional style. We have a varied repertoire consisting of danceable swing tunes, uptempo rockabilly and raunchy r&b, as well as subtle jazz ballads and country tearjerkers.

The Jumpstarts hail from the city of Helsingborg in southern Sweden and have been playing together since 2007. All four members are accomplished musicians who previously have worked with a number of well-known local bands and artists.
